I’ve been predicting for a while now that we were going to see a shift back to super romantic, elegant wedding style as 2011 evolved in 2012. The whole homemade, rustic chic look that has been so popular for the last few years is always going to have it’s place (and I’m glad because it’s a look I personally adore), but I’m really excited to see things get softer and a bit more timeless again. I’m all about gorgeous lace, a bit of sparkle, soft billowy fabrics, fluffy white and blush florals and loads of candlelight. This stunning wedding inspiration shoot featured on Style Me Pretty a while back epitomizes where I think we’re headed with weddings this year and I’ve been so obsessed with every little detail, I couldn’t resist sharing a bit of it here. See it all on Style Me Pretty.
