Party Shopping: Poolside Bash

Our second annual pool party is next weekend so I’ve got full-on party brain at the moment. I’m loving bright citrus colored patterns and stripes right now and I think this bright tomato red market umbrella would be perfect for our patio. For pool parties I like to keep it simple with big pitchers of self-serve beverages like lemonade and sangria alongside a tray of mason jars in lieu of cocktail glasses. Colorful dinnerware, a few simple decorations, and maybe a lawn game or two are all you need for a kickin’ poolside bash.

Red patio umbrella – Overstock
Sparkling juice – Izze
Melamine dinner plates – Calypso St. Barth

I LOVE those plates. Finally plates that don't look like my grandma bought them and saved them from 1964!! You forgot the pool rafts though! This site has some good ones: http://www.toysplash.com/Category/Pool
