A Cake Decorating Party

The sweet Andrea of Strawberry Chic (who shared the awesome DIY pencil holder with us not too long ago) recently planned the loveliest party for her little sister and her friends. A cake decorating party! Each guest got her own mini cake on a pretty little platter and Andrea taught them all a few basic frosting techniques like how to make frosting ruffles and roses. Isn’t this unbelievably fun? It’d be a great idea for a birthday party or even a bridal shower. It definitely has me inspired to start practicing my frosting ruffles.
