Romance + Lace Winter Wedding Shoot

While spring and summer weddings are incredibly popular, I find the romance of a winter wedding completely irresistible. Originally featured on Southern Weddings, I find this winter wedding shoot to be simply stunning. A regal purple and gold color palette paired with warm winter details like vanilla chai and a cocoa bar are the perfect complement to a drop dead gorgeous wedding dress. Covered in lace and boasting the prettiest long sleeves, I could live in this dress. If you are planning a winter wedding, take note – this would be a pretty spectacular way to do it!

This is simply beautiful. They purple is just an unexpected pop of color that makes everything come together. I love the heart shaped marshmallows, too. Happy New Year, Cyd!

I love the place setting. Were they rentals or someone’s own? I’d love to know.

I am not sure, but I’ll see if I can find out and I’ll follow up with another comment when/if I can dig it up. Thanks! It’s lovely isn’t it?

Hey Cyd,

Thanks for the feature! I’m thrilled so many people loved the shoot as much as I loved styling it. The place settings were a Home Goods purchase for the shoot- unfortunately not available via a rentals company, however, there are some very similar options with the high-end rental resources. Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

hi, i tried to find this dress on the website of aimee but i couldn’t, and i LOVE and want it for my dress for my wedding in december…. is there a direct link or style number or something? thank you so much!!!

cyd

Snowy, try printing out a photo and bringing it to your local retailer. I am sure they can help out, especially if it’s an older style. Hope this helps! :-)

Hi Snowygreen,

It is Atelier Aimee, so check her website and find a local retailer in your area that carries her label. Although they carry the line, they may not have that specific gown but they could likely order you a sample to try. The gown itself is actually a spaghetti strap gown and it’s been photographed here with the matching lace shrug jacket. That should help. Designer and Couture gowns aren’t always on the websites so it’s best to work with a local retailer to help you with your order. The gown would be custom-made for you, so they can help with measurements and so forth.

Snowygreen,

Also- you could try calling Alta Moda Bridal here in Utah where the gown was from, they could likely help you as well with specific style number.

I looooove this purple colour!

I like this heart shape on this chocolate drink. Lovely! :D
