Florals + Centerpieces

Pretty Fall Flowers
I love the beautiful colors associated with fall. When I spied these super pretty flowers with their combination of rich scarlet red, ivory and berries I was completely inspired. Isn’t this look just perfect for a fall wedding? Or how about your upcoming Thanksgiving celebration? Tucked in an antique silver urn and paired with bits of metallic and gingham, the look is so warm and inviting. Completely classic in the perfect way!

Florida Citrus Inspired Flowers
Maybe it’s because both of my siblings and the world’s most adorable nieces live in South Florida or because I’m seriously crushing on shades of lemon yellow and tangerine this week, but these gorgeous floral arrangements featuring the prettiest Florida citrus fruit just make my heart big time happy. I love the look of the fruit nestled right in among the big, romantic blooms and the color palette is definitely a burst of sunshine on a cold winter morning like …

Loving Romantic Flowers
My grandmother was an avid gardener and her love for gorgeous flowers has been passed down the generations, first to my mother and then to me. I’m a lifelong sucker for beautiful bouquets and lush centerpieces, the more romantic the better. I’ve found myself pinning so many stunning floral arrangements lately that it’s definitely safe to say that I’m loving romantic flowers even more than usual right now.

Pretty Red + White Wedding Flowers
Dani from Studio Fleurette shared these lovely florals she recently created and I loved them instantly. I’m a sucker for flowers clustered in vintage vessels and milk glass never gets old for me. I also love how centerpieces look with just one or two colors with minimal greenery. It’s a great way to create a lot of visual impact without having to invest in large, overly complicated centerpieces that, while lovely, can get very costly. There is something just so …

Succulent Escort Cards
I love this idea for including budget-friendly succulents in an unexpected way at your celebration. Wrapped in kraft or parchment paper they become perfect little escort cards. Clustered in an old wooden tray they become earthy and beautiful centerpieces. Check out the details from Mary Swenson for Project Wedding.

A Sweet Spring Bouquet
It is a well established fact around these parts that I just adore essentially everything that the lovely Chelsea Fuss creates. Today I just can’t get this sweet spring bouquet out of my head. Maybe it’s because I’m finally growing really weary of winter and can’t wait for the smell of flowers and grass and trees, or maybe it’s simply because it’s just so pretty. Either way, I can’t get over the soft water color inspired palette and it makes …

Loving Wedding Bouquets
Without question gorgeous flowers are one of my favorite design details for weddings and celebrations. It’s such a great way to introduce color, texture and personality, which is why I am loving wedding bouquets right now. From the bold and colorful to the classic and traditional, a beautiful wedding bouquet never goes out of style.

Summery Black-Eyed Susan Bridal Shower
Today I couldn’t resist sharing this pretty black-eyed susan inspired bridal shower by I Am Baker featured last week on Sweet Designs. Nothing says summer like a long white cotton table runner and big mason jars filled with striking black eyed susans. The pretty homemade cakes were topped with black-eyed susans and little cookies were frosted with the bride and groom’s upcoming wedding date. This kind of event design is so chic, but really quite effortless. Grab big bunches of …
