Have you guys seen this amazing creative project, Blossom Type? It’s seriously one of the most inspiring things I’ve seen recently. A collaboration between Alice Mourou, Dmitriy Petrov, Olesya Korsak and Nikita Schukin, Blossom Type features beautiful typography created by bits of flowers and greens, with beautifully styled photos and video clips detailing the process. I love it when talented people get together and take on fun projects like this, a project based purely on creating something unique and lovely. See more photos and check out …

Inspired By: A Giant Bouquet

Inspired By: A Giant Bouquet

Have you guys seen this gorgeous giant bouquet? I’ve found myself staring at it off and one now for a couple of weeks because it’s just that lovely. And besides, it has me feeling all kinds of excited about spring!  (Because, you know, it’s finally creeping into the 40s this week so I have hopes that spring may actually show up sometime between now and summer.) Drawing inspiration from Brittni’s fabulous floral creation and the outfit Kelly (her model for …

DIY Magnolia Leaf Garland

DIY Magnolia Leaf Garland

by Chelsea Costa

Every year after Christmas, my mom and I are so bummed to take down all of the decorations. So this year I decided that we needed some transition decorations that wouldn’t make us so sad to take down the tree at her house. My mom insisted on keeping up a few twinkly lights, and I got started on a surprisingly simple little magnolia leaf garland! I love that it feels wintery but doesn’t necessarily scream “holiday,” and that it’s …

Nice Stems: DIY Mini Holiday Wreaths

Nice Stems: DIY Mini Holiday Wreaths

by Chelsea Costa

In case you can’t already tell, I’m into tiny things right now. I’ve also been trying to think of projects that are simple and cost-effective for the holidays. Sometimes with all of the excess of shopping and sales and the holiday madness, I enjoy keeping things small but beautiful on the DIY front. These little mini holiday wreaths are almost free and can be used to dress up your holiday table, mantle, or just a lonely doorknob. …

Nice Stems: DIY Halloween Flowers

Nice Stems: DIY Halloween Flowers

by Chelsea Costa

It’s October! And you know what that means – things are about to get all spooky up in here. But this year I’m switching it up and instead of good ol’ orange and black, all of my Halloween festivities are going to be black and white. It feels a little bit classy, a little bit glamorous, and still plenty spooky for Halloween. And we’re translating that palette into a simple bouquet of Halloween flowers that you can use as …

I love the beautiful colors associated with fall. When I spied these super pretty flowers with their combination of rich scarlet red, ivory and berries I was completely inspired. Isn’t this look just perfect for a fall wedding? Or how about your upcoming Thanksgiving celebration? Tucked in an antique silver urn and paired with bits of metallic and gingham, the look is so warm and inviting. Completely classic in the perfect way!

Florida Citrus Inspired Flowers

Maybe it’s because both of my siblings and the world’s most adorable nieces live in South Florida or because I’m seriously crushing on shades of lemon yellow and tangerine this week, but these gorgeous floral arrangements featuring the prettiest Florida citrus fruit just make my heart big time happy. I love the look of the fruit nestled right in among the big, romantic blooms and the color palette is definitely a burst of sunshine on a cold winter morning like …

Loving Romantic Flowers

Loving Romantic Flowers

My grandmother was an avid gardener and her love for gorgeous flowers has been passed down the generations, first to my mother and then to me. I’m a lifelong sucker for beautiful bouquets and lush centerpieces, the more romantic the better. I’ve found myself pinning so many stunning floral arrangements lately that it’s definitely safe to say that I’m loving romantic flowers even more than usual right now.

Dani from Studio Fleurette shared these lovely florals she recently created and I loved them instantly. I’m a sucker for flowers clustered in vintage vessels and milk glass never gets old for me. I also love how centerpieces look with just one or two colors with minimal greenery. It’s a great way to create a lot of visual impact without having to invest in large, overly complicated centerpieces that, while lovely, can get very costly. There is something just so …

Succulent Escort Cards

Succulent Escort Cards

I love this idea for including budget-friendly succulents in an unexpected way at your celebration. Wrapped in kraft or parchment paper they become perfect little escort cards. Clustered in an old wooden tray they become earthy and beautiful centerpieces. Check out the details from Mary Swenson for Project Wedding.
