Sweet Eats: Profiteroles + Chocolate
Ahhh, profiteroles. These sweet treats are some kind of heaven. I’m sitting in the Charleston airport this morning waiting on my flight back to Syracuse and I am here to tell you what, I am craving some profiteroles and chocolate sauce right now like you wouldn’t believe. I’ve never made profiteroles before, but I am thinking I’d like to give it a whirl. While more intricate than whipping up some tasty cookies, the pay off is all in the puffy …

We loved going there on the weekends and “helping out” in exchange for quarters for rounds of pinball and oversized root beer floats which we giddily slurped down. Maybe that’s why these root beer floats with homemade hot fudge just sound so good to me. They’re nostalgic and a reminder of carefree childhood days, but …

Sweet Eats: Cinnamon Roll Almond Flour Donuts
Perfect for enjoying something sweet over morning coffee, I’m adding these cinnamon roll donuts to my list of must-make treats. Made with almond flour and iced with a cinnamon topping and hazelnuts, they’re baked instead of fried. Oh and I have no doubt that they’re certifiably delicious. (That’s the important part, right?)
