What’s In My Purse

So, it’s confession time! Turns out, I’m a bit of  YouTube junkie. Specifically, beauty videos. I’m not sure I’ve picked up any skills yet in that department, but I have at least picked up a few ideas for new products to try. I digress. This is about the infamous “what’s in my purse” videos that seem to crop up on YouTube daily and, seriously, they’re so fun. I love seeing what people tote around on a day to day basis! So today after my morning jog I suddenly decided I should give you a glimpse inside my purse, because why not? So here it is – what’s in my purse!

My current everyday bag is this large leather satchel I scored at Marshall’s for $40 a few months back. It has shiny gold hardware and a cool basket weave texture that I love. Inside it holds my French bi-fold Coach wallet that I’ve had for about seven years. I always think about getting a new one, but the fact is this oldie but goodie is still in like-new condition after years of wear and tear so I really can’t seem to justify giving it the boot. Otherwise I always have my iPhone, keys, any number of lip glosses and lip balms, a mini bottle of body spray, a little deodorant, a notebook and pen and often my new tablet, especially if I’m going to meetings or traveling. My iPhone case of the moment is from my collection with Chromatic & Co. and, of course, I never leave home without my sunglasses. We live all of a hop, skip and a jump from Canada so quite often I have my passport tucked in there, too, for impromptu lunches across the border. Truth be told, I’m a bit of a hoarder so typically you’re going to find a whole bunch of receipts, hair ties, and random things like sunscreen and a bottle of water stashed somewhere in my bag. And there you have it! Now I want to know – what must-haves do you carry in your purse? Spill the beans!
