A Lego Dance Birthday Party

While at Alt last week I got to spend time with some pretty awesome roommates. I’m going to be name dropping them a lot in the coming days and telling you how amazing each of them are, you can count on that. In the meantime, I will say simply that I loved getting to meet Sharon of Cupcakes & Cutlery in person and share some quality girl time with her and our other roommates. I think Sharon and I are a lot alike. We’re both Aries and have (in my humble opinion) a wildly funny streak. (Ok, maybe Sharon’s just the funny one and I’m the one snorting at her jokes. I’ll let everyone else be the judge of that one.) Oh and we both love impromptu dance parties. So today I’m really excited to share this party that Sharon planned for her son’s sixth birthday. It’s amazing in the way that any celebration involving Legos and dance parties is bound to be.

This party basically had it all. A fun and modern twist on a timeless kids favorite, brightly colored confetti, a back patio lined with curtains and decked out as an all-out dance club, and loads of perfectly themed treats and cupcakes. It’s such a fresh take on a kids party. Loaded with color and interactive fun, but not skimping on good design either. The Lego-themed posters and signage? Completely adorable without treading into cheesy territory a bit. And again with the dancing and confetti. Pop over and visit Sharon at Cupcakes & Cutlery for all the details!
