Sweet Eats: Blueberry Dutch Pancakes

I’m not sure what it is this week, but all I can think about right now is spending the weekend in the kitchen. One thing you guys need to know about me? I am obsessed with breakfast. I have no idea why but it has for sure been my favorite meal of the day for basically always. Right now I can’t think of any better way to start a Sunday morning than with these blueberry Dutch pancakes. Add a side of dark coffee and maybe a dollop of freshly whipped cream on top and this is weekend breakfast at it’s best!

Hate to dissapoint you: these pancakes aren’t Dutch at all… We eat our pancakes bigger (as big as a large dinnerplate), with cheese and/or bacon, syrup, sugar or appleparts and cinnamon.
We don’t use blueberries. Mainly because they’re quite expensive over here. And in the old days pancakes was food for the poor people. Now everyone eats them, because they’re so delicious and easy to make.
