Party Palette: Neon + Neutral

I am probably not going to shock you here with this one, but I’m still loving the neon trend and adore that it’s still kickin’! Today’s color palette is all about neon colors paired with neutrals for a modern, stylish look. While this might be a big vibrant for most people for a wedding, it’d be perfect for a party or to inspire the color palette in a kid’s bedroom. I love the combination of citron, neon cherry, hot pink and kraft. It’s fun, colorful and 80s chic in all the right ways.

Not shocked at all – love a neon palette and that NG top is pretty fantastic!

This palette kills it. I love the “kraft” inclusion. Which reminds me, one of the thinks I like best about your color palettes is your naming conventions. You describe colors like a catalog would, which gets my imagination moving in new directions. Where do you find the inspiration to name each color and color palette?

Hey Christie! You are always the sweetest, seriously. It makes my day! I honestly just come up with them off the tops of my head. I think about what the colors remind me of or what kind of feeling they evoke, and I also try to take into consideration the overall feel I’m going for with the inspiration board itself. I’ve always joked about wanting to be a paint color namer so I guess this is my little way of making that dream come true! ;-)
