What to Wear: Mother of the Bride

So, already putting requests from the reader survey into action, let’s talk Mother of the Bride fashion today, shall we? I kind of tackled this one with a summer evening wedding in mind. I think a lot of people still have the misconception that moms are required to show up to the wedding dressed totally conservatively. I don’t buy it. Moms should have fun, too! So here I chose a really fun patterned dress that is still completely sophisticated and paired it with modern yet timeless accessories. If you’re going to rock a pattern, just remember to keep everything else a bit more neutral – in this case black and rose gold. Splurge on a little luxury with a gorgeous cashmere wrap and mom will be the belle of the ball. (Right behind that other other belle of the ball, of course.)
