Holiday Cocktails with Sierra Mist Natural

Recently I was contacted by Sierra Mist Natural about sharing a few holiday cocktails (and mocktails) with you. I was instantly on board! I love unexpected and fun cocktails when entertaining so I was game to try these out. Also, Sierra Mist Natural is made with real sugar and nothing artificial, so for someone who typically just drinks water or coffee (both by the gallon), I love that these tasty cocktails don’t take on a super fake sugary taste. Scroll down for the complete recipes and a printable recipe guide featuring mocktail variations of both drinks.

I love the combination of basil, lime juice and blueberry juice in this drink, the Meet Me at the Mistletoe Martini. You can serve it up in a pretty martini glass, of course, but I stuck to my tried and true favorite – a mason jar piled high with ice and a pretty paper straw. (These are from *Shop Sweet Lulu, which I purchased for a recent party.)

Meet Me at the Mistletoe Martini

Ingredients -

  • 2 oz. Sierra Mist Natural
  • 1-1/2 oz. Raspberry Vodka
  • 3 Leaves fresh basil
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. Blueberry juice

Directions -

  1. In a glass, muddle two basil leaves and lime juice, then add to shaker filled with ice
  2. Add vodka and blueberry juice to the shaker; shake well and strain into a martini glass
  3. Top with Sierra Mist Natural
  4. Garnish with a basil leaf for decoration (optional)

The Frost Bite takes on a festive, pretty blue color and is super fruity with a hint of mint. The recipe calls for coconut vodka, but I skipped that in favor of plain vodka because I’m not a huge coconut fan. That said, for coconut lovers this is the perfect combination of wintery and tropical!
