National Stationery Show 2011 (Part I)

At long last I’ve recovered from my trek to this year’s National Stationery Show, the photos have been edited and I can’t wait to share with you a few highlights from the show. First up, it has to be noted that I spend about 98% of the show holding down the fort in the Smock booth, so it’s only right to start there. Conceptualizing, designing and pulling together the details for this year’s booth consumed most of my brain power for the better part of the spring. The booth aesthetic was all about clean, edited design and neutral, natural materials that allow the colors and pattern of the product to pop. I love how it all came together!

For a behind the scenes look at how the booth came together, visit the Smock blog. I’ll be sharing a lot more details about Smock’s beautiful new letterpress wedding invitation collection and expanded stationery line soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for more show coverage all day long.
